Still Working Hard

Don't worry about the shoes. Really I will be fine. I don't need new shoes. If they get that bad, I can buy glue for a dollar, so I'm not that worried about it.

This week was sweet with the people that attended church. We had six people attend. We had Carlos & Naomi, Guermo, Amaro, Angelica & Pactircio. One of our investigators came and his best friend is a member. The member didn't believe that he was coming to church, so when they saw each other, it was like so cool. It was way neat to see haw they acted with each other.  We have a date for a baptism, but it's not really official yet. The thing is that the investigator works a lot in the north, so we have to work around his work schedule. We still have to teach him, so it would be like the end of June for the baptism. I am not sure if I will still be here.

So this week we have a conference with President K. I think this will be the last one, so we will see how everything goes with that. It could be really interesting. We have a movie night this week with the ward. I am excited about that. We are going to watch "Meet the Mormons" so that will be pretty fun. I taught some people this week that Elder Diaz and I were on exchanges with.  He asked the investigator to read and he couldn't read. That was a little awkward, but i guess it's o.k. His kid could get the words out, so we made it through. Yesterday we had ward conference. I like those because our bishop talks and I like to hear him talk. I learn a lot from him. Other then that, not much has happened. I hope you have a good week.

It's Getting Colder

O.K. so for the birthdays. I hope Dad, Trey, and Easton all have a Happy Birthday this week. Sounds like you will keep the roads hot this week running to Idaho and to Casper.

So this week we had Carlos and Naomi attend with Gueirllmo and Amaro, so we had a lot of people attend. Jessenia was sick and Tamara was sleeping. It was an interesting Sunday because Carlos and Naomi came in late and my comp went up to show them a family to sit with and then he ended up staying up there with them, so that left me alone with the 9 and 5 year old kids alone during the whole meeting. That wasn't very fun.  It was one of the longest meeting I have had in my life. It's one thing if it's my family that I am watching, but hard with someone else's kids.  I had pens to let then draw and my agenda's mission pages. The next time, I am definitely going to look for a family that they can sit by because
I don't want that to happen again.

That is nuts that all my friends got married and that Bransen Bradshaw is home from his mission. I can't believe he is home already. His mission has gone by so fast. I felt like I was just at his farewell yesterday.

This week we found new people to teach so we will see how that goes. President K. has like forty something days left and then we will have a new Mission President, so we will see how that goes. It's getting colder. It's the wet humid that is interesting to feel.  Other then that, not much has happened. Have a good week.

Happy Mother's Day!

It was good to see everyone on the Skype call.  Everyone looked good. The kids were so big. I couldn't believe it. At least Boston and Molly still recognize me. That made me really happy. The time of the Skype call went so fast, but it was so good. About the shoes. Don't worry about it.  If you could just send a few pairs of Dr, Shoells food pads that would be good.

It's all right about the p-day with never getting to do anything fun.  I have just gotten used to it.  This week I pretty much told you about my week on the Skype call.  We went to Vina this morning to see about getting the credit cards. We still didn't get them, but they gave us money to use to pay our bills. So we are good for a while. So that is really nice.

Thanks for the updates on the playoffs. Did you have any other questions or anything like that?  I will start writing more or trying to anyway. Thanks for everything. Have a good week.

Transfers on Wednesday

O.k., so I am going to call around 8 p.m. my time so it should be around 5 or 4 there.  That way you can get out of church and eat and all that stuff comfortably. So this week we still don't have our lights or hot water on, but we should get it back on this week if everything works out, and I hope it does. I can't wait to take a hot shower again! We got some money, but we still don't have the mission cards. I don't know when they well get here.  Hopefully in a few more weeks. I hope my companion and I will stay here. I will probably tell you about it Sunday because transfers are Wednesday. I like this companion.  We get along good. I have had so many companions and changes. It's hard to adjust to each one and then six weeks later you have to adjust again. So I hope we both stay this time, and I think we will. Yesterday we found the poor place in our sector. There are like four houses there.  We found two investigators from it. They are pretty funny, and they should be really good. Then one of our investigators got robbed. It actually really helped us out because she could rely on us more, and she could confide in us more, along with her boyfriend. I have zone conference tomorrow with my zone. It will be super small because a few of our missionaries have gone home this transfer, so our zone is little.

Do you know what happened in the south of Chile with the sister missionaries? i heard some things, but I would like to know more if you can find out.  That is all I have.  Have a good week.  See you on Sunday.
