This week has gone by a lot faster which is way good. Tuesday night we had a devotional and the place where we were at flooded. There was so much rain in this little hole thing . There was probably four feet of water . You could have baptized someone in it. We were out playing in it. The roads had about eight inches water. We took some pictures but it was at night so I don't know how good they are. I have taken some pictures. My companion, Elder Horton is from Spokane, Washington so that is good. That is too bad about Melissa and Patty, but they will make it through it. I will be praying for them and try to send them some missionary blessings. The food is alright. It depends the day. Some days it sends you running to the bathroom which is bad because of the one ply toilet paper! Some days it is pretty good. That is cool about Josh Taylor getting his mission call to Redlands, CA. I see Chris Sorenson and Travis Crook quite a bit so that is pretty cool. Sister Jones said once Levi gets here she will take us a picture of us four and send it to you guys so you should get a picture in the next little bit. She is a way cool lady and probably my favorite out of the presidency's wives. I made it through another week of not speaking in Sacrament meeting but I don't know about the next week though. They had a kid who had been here for a few days speak. I felt so bad for him. Our older district left this week which really stinks because they have helped me so much with everything and it was like the support I needed at the time from a person here. They gave us this book about district 5. It was pretty funny and the girl who started it said she was eventually going to publish it so that would be way cool be apart of history. My Spanish is rough. I get nervous which I know I shouldn't do and then I forget everything I would say in English and Spanish so that leaves me in a problem. But I have learned a lot. The washing is going pretty good so far, but I can't shrink anything because I think I have gained a little weight so I need to get going on the whole running thing. The devotionals here are the things that keep me going. They are very uplifting and all that good stuff and through all those devotionals, you can really see our district come closer which is pretty cool. I heard the spurs won the finals. Is that true or not ? I really hope it is because I really don't want them to three beat um. I wanted to buy this Mexican jersey, but it wouldn't even fit me when I was Boston's age . This thing is tiny. Not much other things happened this week, just a lot of class. I hope one of these days we will get to see the temple, because I want to see some of the city. So that it for me.
Oh yeah, Happy Father's Day Dad. I think it was Sunday, I don't know. I hope it was a good day for you. I guess I won't be winning son of the year award since I forgot, but that's ok. Hope is was a good day for you.
Love,
Elder Gillies
